CASE Goals
The major goals of CASE are:
- Employ theoretical and conceptual models and frameworks that advance understanding of the relationships between the characteristics and consequences of early childhood intervention and family support practices.
- Develop and implement mechanisms that build research-to-practice models and frameworks that contribute to an understanding of evidence-based practices.
- Conduct new studies and analyze extant databases to shed light on the characteristics and consequences of competency-enhancing early childhood intervention and family support practices.
- Conduct process and outcome studies of promising and innovative early childhood intervention and family support practices.
- Conduct studies to fill in knowledge gaps to both illuminate and clarify an understanding of the key characteristics of effective early childhood intervention and family support practices.
- Engage in research-related activities promoting better understanding and adoption of evidence-based early childhood intervention and family support practices.
- Develop and implement training methods and procedures for promoting adoption and use of evidence-based early childhood intervention and family support practices.
- Disseminate information, materials, methods, and strategies about evidence-based practices in early intervention, early childhood education, parenting and family support, and community resource mobilization.
- Promote adoption and use of evidence-based intervention and utilization practices.
